I am a hearing mom to a Hard of Hearing 5 year old son. This episode is great to know more about the strength of the Deaf Community and the struggles that have to be overcome as hearing try to limit the Deaf as if it is a hearing world. This video is well done and shows the timeline of the Deaf President Now movement that really showed the world how the Deaf are not learning in a hearing world, they are people learning and living in the world and no one especially not their own Board of Trustees at a school should act as if they cannot or are not ready for anything. This movement and others like it help the world be better able to accept my son and not limit him as his hearing ability does not limit him. It really is a must watch for anyone, especially if you have any link to the Deaf Community or anyone who is Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Learn and support and this video is a great education tool.

I loved learning about the Deaf community standing up for what they believed in and not backing down. What a great video to show this important moment in Deaf history.
