Welcome to the Signs of Development Online Library
The DCMP is pleased to offer Signs of Development (SOD) content via our website. The SOD content was originally designed for distribution via CD-ROMs, thus the content may reference “CD” and “disc” even though you are viewing it on the web. All content is available online, and no CD is required for viewing.
System Requirements
Due to the large amount of video content, a broadband internet connection is required. QuickTime™ and Flash™ are required for viewing. These free programs will be installed automatically. Should you need to manually install them, you can download them from Apple’s QuickTime™ download page and from Adobe’s Flash Player™ download page respectively.
After placing your order via the DCMP website, you will have access to your lesson(s) for three days. During this three-day period, you may access your lesson(s) as often as you wish through your recent orders on your DCMP home page. After your three-day period is complete, you may reorder the lesson if you wish to have further access to it.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
To earn CEUs from the SOD material you access here, you need to complete the following:
- Watch the workshop and keep an activity journal throughout as directed.
- At the end of the workshop, print and complete the post-test.
- Mail the post-test, a copy of your activity journal, and your CEU fee* (equivalent to $6.95 per each hour) to the following location:
Signs of Development, LLC
PO Box 4850
Lago Vista, TX 78645
Or fax to:
(928) 395-1878
No independent study paperwork is needed. Fill out the top portion of the post-test thoroughly to ensure proper credit. You must provide an e-mail address and will receive a certificate in your e-mail inbox as soon as the test is checked, activity journal is verified, and credits are approved. If you do not receive a certificate within 30 days, please contact Signs of Development via e-mail.
Remember: It is always safer and faster to fax your paperwork to SOD at 928-395-1878. If mailing, do not send original paperwork. By faxing, you can be assured that your paperwork is received quickly, and it prevents the loss of your originals, which can be re-faxed if they are not received.
*NOTE: By copyright, CEUs may only be obtained from SOD. CEUs are available for teachers, interpreters (state & RID credit), ASLTA, and others.
FYI
Some of you may be borrowing older CD WWWorkshops that were acquired by DCMP prior to 2002. Although you may still obtain CEUs from the older WWWorkshops, please note the change in the SOD mailing address in order to submit CEU paperwork. The correct address is on this page. Please disregard all other addresses you may see.
